TELEPHONE REASSURANCE OPERATOR
Like the hub of a wheel, the telephone assurance operator is the central point of contact
for our Telecare Program. Telecare Home Callers make daily calls to over 400 seniors in our
community. You will serve as the contact person should a Telecare Home Caller not get in
touch with an assigned senior. You will make follow-up calls to ensure the out-of-touch
senior is safe.
POSITION/TITLE: Telephone Reassurance Operator
GOAL OF POSITION: Provide a central point of contact to which TeleCare Home Callers
can transmit emergency contact information for seniors not answering their telephones.
Additional duties may include scheduling volunteer callers and making Telecare home calls.
TIMEFRAME: 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., daily. Shifts may be arranged.
WORKSITE: Dosker Manor
QUALIFICATIONS: Friendly voice; Ability to maintain confidentiality;
Ability to record information; Patience
